Built to sell your trade harder than you can.
Every site does the same six things properly, at a price fixed before we start.
Fixed price / Plan within 2 hours / No sales call
Everything a trade site needs. Nothing it doesn't.
Six things every site I build does properly — because these are the things that actually turn a scroll into a phone call.
Genuinely fast
Hand-coded and lightweight, so your site loads before a customer even thinks about hitting back. Google has reported that more than half of mobile visits are abandoned when a page takes longer than three seconds to load — yours won't be one of them.
Mobile-first, always
Most of your customers are on a phone in a driveway or a garden. A site that isn't built for that loses them within seconds — yours is built for the thumb first, not squeezed to fit it after.
No WordPress bloat
No themes, no 30 plugins, no security holes. Security firms' annual reports consistently find WordPress makes up the large majority of hacked CMS websites, usually through an outdated plugin rather than WordPress itself. Yours has none to break in through.
Full ownership
You pay once and own everything — code, domain, content. No monthly rental on your site and no being locked out of your own website.
WhatsApp built in
One tap and the customer is messaging you directly. The fastest way to catch a hot lead before they ring the next name on the list.
Local SEO
Structured to rank for the towns and services you actually work in, so the right people in the right postcode find you first.
The site brings the lead in. Your own dashboard runs the job after.
Enquiries, quotes, jobs, invoices and a customer portal in one private place, in your business name and colours, instead of five apps and a WhatsApp thread.
Never lose an enquiry
Your site’s contact form feeds straight into the dash. Every lead is in one list, and any nobody has followed up is flagged.
Quote and invoice properly
Send branded quotes your customer accepts online with no login, then invoice and see who owes what at a glance.
Customers stay in the loop
A private portal for each customer. Scope changes are approved there and logged, so nothing is “agreed on the phone”.
Hosted by me, free for your first 12 months, then £39 a month if you want to keep it. Your website is always yours, with or without the dashboard.

The price reflects what's actually being built: a site engineered to win better work, and the system behind it that runs your enquiries, quotes and jobs. We agree the figure before a line of code is written, and it doesn't move once we start.

Website prices and what you get
How much does a website cost for a tradesman?
With Scalar Digital, a hand-coded landing page is £750 and the full five-page build is £2,500, which includes a private dashboard for enquiries, quotes, jobs and invoices. The price is fixed before any work starts. Elsewhere, DIY website builders cost roughly £10 to £30 a month, freelancers commonly charge £500 to £3,000, and agencies often charge more. See the cost guide for a full comparison.
Do I own the website and the domain?
Yes. You pay once and own the code and the domain outright. There is no monthly rental on your site. The private dashboard that comes with the full build is hosted for free for your first 12 months, then £39 a month if you want to keep it. That is optional: stop paying and only the dashboard stops. Your website is always yours, with or without it.
What is the difference between the £750 and £2,500 options?
The £750 option is a single hand-coded landing page with your services, a call and WhatsApp button and an enquiry form. The £2,500 option is five hand-coded pages, including a gallery and a service areas page, plus local SEO built into the structure, Google Business and reviews wired in, and a private dashboard.
What do the monthly plans include?
Both are optional. Care (£39 a month, free for the first 12 months with the full build) keeps your dashboard running, checks your site every hour, asks customers for reviews after each job and sends you a monthly report. Growth (£149 a month) adds a new page on your site for each finished job, written from your photos and published once you approve it, a matching Google Business Profile post, ready-to-post replies to your Google reviews, and seasonal emails to your past customers, written for you. You can stop either plan any month and keep your website.
Why hand-coded instead of WordPress?
Hand-coded pages carry no themes or plugins, so they load quickly on a phone and there is nothing extra to update or for someone to break into. Speed matters because most trade customers search on a mobile, often on a weak signal.
Will my website help me rank on Google?
A fast, well-structured site with clear pages for each service and area gives you the best foundation, and the full build includes local SEO in its structure. No one can honestly guarantee a ranking, though, because it also depends on competition, reviews and time. Be wary of anyone who promises first place.
